Being situated quite remote, planning a surf trip may seem confusing at first. To provide some assistance, we outlined the basic travel route, beginning at Padang Airport all the way to our resort.
Arrival at Padang Airport (PDG)
The easiest way to reach the Mentawai Islands is to fly in via Padang Airport. Airport Pickup can be organized, just let us know.
Overnight Stay in Padang
Due to ferry schedules, an overnight stay in Padang may be the most convenient option. We can recommend a reasonalby priced hotel close to the fast ferry harbor, which is located in the city centre.
If you choose to take the slow ferry on friday evening, an overnight stay in Padang may not be necessary, depending on your flight schedule. The slow ferry harbor is a 45 min drive south of padang, make sure to have enough spare time.
